Mistakes...
Well I took a nice break, and really came off of it feeling refreshed. I also learned I do not have to play poker every second of every day. I actually have only played a few 2 table SnG's and a couple of Sats since I came back. Unfortunately I have bubbled everything. Normally I would be upset but I know I made some mistakes and I am working on correcting those mistakes.
Talking about mistakes I was thinking about them earlier. Being in the military I see ppl make mistakes and them try to cover them up or not admit they fucked up so they will keep continuing down the wrong path eventhough they know the majority of the time it is not going to turn out in their favor.
This is human nature I guess because myself and just about every poker player I know falls into this trap. They play a hand they know they should not be playing and when the flop comes they are faced with a difficult decision. At this point instead of admitting to themselves they fucked up they will "outplay" the individual and end up against a huge hand. The hands normally end the same
"I never put him on KK"
"who plays big PP like that"
Very seldom is it I should binned the KJs preflop.
Unfortunately I don’t have the answer to this, but I thought it was an interesting observation
