I think I might be the mayor of MicroTown...

It was a little over two weeks ago when I announced that I had ran out of money and had to play freerolls to try to make a comeback. Then a wonderful offer made by Mark at Sit and Go Planet saved the day and offered me 20 dollars to write an article on micro limit SnG's. So I wrote the best article I could. It did not hold a candle to any article Mark had written. However, he transferred me the money and off I went.

Like I said that started two weeks ago or maybe a it longer. Last night I hit $50.00 I decided that it was time to start keeping track again. I had worked so hard playing 1.20 SnG's to build this bankroll up to where it is I needed to start looking for leaks and ways to improve my play again.

I decided to keep playing the 1.20 at least until I have 50 buy ins for the 3.40 turbo's. I will play the odd 180 man here and there but mostly will be concentrating on the 1.20 tables, and building a respectable bankroll from 20 dollars

Grinding it out...

A pretty productive weekend on the virtual felt. I started the weekends play with 26ish dollars in my pokerstars account. My goal was to play a lot of poker and maybe end up with 40ish dollars in my account. It might not sound like much of a feat but micro/donkey land is a tough place to build a bankroll. Sometimes you get on a table full of people that want to play "poker". So you sit there for an hour and 20 minutes battling it out for a 3.30 profit if you win. Then other times you log on and the play is so spastic and uncooridinated that I feel like I am brushing my teeth left handed.

This weekend was no different and had a wide range of players. I made a major adjustment to my game that helped drastically and that was no matter what happened I tried to keep a level head. It helped tremendously when twice I was crippled early holding KK vs Ax. When I say crippled I mean crippled once I went all the way down down to 350, and the other time 600. Both times I cam eback to win.

Anyways I played something like 15 games this weekend. My bankroll is at 47.44 right now. I realize I am not rich or anythiing, but I feel pretty good about making 27.44 over 2 weeks playing 1.20 SnGs. I have played pretty consistently with a few relapses in the world of donktum, but thats why I am working my way up the ladder. Anyways I have to pose the question does anyone have moneybookers as a processor? If so let me know I need to figure out a way untrap 50 dollars that got stuck when they realized my bank bases in the US. If anyone has moneybookers I will ship you 50 via moneybookers for 40 on pokerstars. Just leave a comment with you e-mail address. I have not been using poker office to keep track of my stats lately just because I wanted to just play poker for a bit. I will start using poker office tonight or tomorrow and start keeping track again.

Well not quite as planned...

First of all my WIFE rocks. She is mean an sadistic(will tell you why in a sec but she rocks. Ok... For starters summer time hear on okinawa is tough because it cost so much to run the AC and such. My wife e-mails me at work and explains that after she paid the bills she did not have to enough money to get me a birthday cake, and she had went and got hostess cupcakes and had my son pick out candles. At first I did not belive her but she was like " I know it sucks but you have to act excited because Xander(My youngest) is really excited. SO I said dont worry I will be excited no matter what....

So I left work ready to enjoy my hostess cupcakes and I am driving home. When I get to my first stop light I notice my radio has turned off, and then my window wont roll down, soon after that my car stops running completely and I am stuck in a turn off lane on one of the busiest roads in okinawa! All of a sudden I see 4 men jogging down the road in suits and ties like some Japanese BusinessMan Justice League coming to my rescue. I could swear I heard eye of the tiger playing in the background. All of a sudden we are jogging my car 1km to the nearest parking lot. I notice that the name badge one of the guys are using has the name of my housing agency on it. For those that dont know a housing agency basically acts as an mediary between you and a landlord. Anyways one of the guys let me call my wife on his cell phone and told me to come get a drink in there office.

When we walk in the receptionist explains she has already called a service station, and made sure they would tow my car for free and give me a discount on repairs. She explains "sir dont worry I will call you when your car is fixed". Who are these people I cannot believe the generousity of the okinawan people I was amazed...

So we go home and I remember I have to be excited about the cupcakes. I walk in and see that my wife got me a YODA birthday cake. For those of you that dont know me personally(and amazingly there is some of you). I love yoda... i have hundreds of action figures/collectables. So thats right my wife tricked me so she is mean and devious, but she rocks and I would not trade her for the world.

Poker was a bit of a bust as I bubble out of 2 $3 dollar turbos I played. I plan to get a lot of play in this weekend so be prepared for a monster poker post after the weekend.

Happy Birthday to ME!!!

Thats right today is my birthday so anyone that feels the need to lavish me with gifts my Poker Stars screen name is "biakkax".

Last night went pretty well I played four games 1-45 man, and 3-9 man. I screwed the 45 man up when I made a great play representing a flush when I got called by a guy that had pair his 2. Oh well I broke a cardinal rule there and tried to bluff a bad player. I placed in two of the 9 man games which I felt was pretty good gettng a 1st and second from my free rolling. I still have 6.20 left in tournament dollars which is enough for me to play 5 games. I am still hoping to hit $40 using this $T, but I am a but behind the curve to do so standing at $28 dollars right now. I am considering playing 4 more 9 man games and then a 1.10 45 man sat for another 11.00 in T$. Have not decided yet though. I have been thinking about how I am going to build this bankroll of mine up to where I want it. I have yet to decide the path I am going to take. I will set up a tracker for my play on the right in the next couple of days.

Frustrating evening....

Well I had a live double shootout last night and I was playing really well and a nice chip lead when my mouth got me into trouble.

Now I have to let you know there is maybe 10 people that play these big live games every week that just push all in or call with a gut shot str8 to the river no matter what and then explained that he knew it was going to hit.

I watched this guy make 4 calls for all his chips with 4 outs when I finally I said
"man I don't say this much but you are really really bad. I mean you might win this table and good on you if you do it, and there is nothing wrong with that as long as you understand you don't know how to play."

He responds "this aint the WPOS" <----Immediately I realize that I have torn into a man with a very small IQ. I understand that I may be in trouble now.

He also explains to me that there is no skill in poker it is the drop of the cards and to prove this to me he begins to go all in every hand. After two orbits I felt bad for ruining the game for the other two people so I called with AK and he hit his 2 on the flop when holding 82. GG me

Although it sucked it was my fault for opening my mouth. I just could not take his delusions that he knew what he was doing anymore. He went out shortly after me so I was happy about that.

So I tiltedly went to playing online. Lost some of my Titan bankroll, and tilted off 6 dollars of my stars bankroll. I then entered the 70 fpp sat to the sunday hundred grand. I won that and now have 11 tournament dollars to play with. I have not decided if I want to do 9 one dollar games or what yet. I am definitely going to mix it up a bit playing 9, 18 and 45 man games though. Hopefully free rolling 9 games will give my roll a bit of a boost over the next few days.

My goal is to get it to 40 dollars with this 11 in T$. We will see if it happens. If I ever get it to $100.00 I am definitely going to and play in the brit bloggerment even though it is at like 3am my time.

Speaking of which check out BurnleyMic's blog. It is entertaining and he is the runner of the bloggerments. Also check out Raise the River I would like to see this turn into a decent sized forum without the crap that is in all the other forums. Maybe one day I could become good enough to be a moderator who knows.

A quick update

Well it has been a few days. So I guess I have apologize for that but it has been an interesting week. I guess I will begin with the non poker stuff, but be assured I have some good poker stuff coming along today as well. Well my last update was Thursday which was a quick one but I linked to my article which I think most people liked. I wasn’t disappointed since it was my first one, but I hope to do much better my second attempt.

So I don’t play poker Thursday night because my wife and I are watching the seasons of prison break. It is a highly addictive show. Anyways about midnight my phone rings. Now at my house living thousands of miles away from family a midnight phone call in the middle of the week can mean only two things. Someone is dead, or my servers at work have taken a big healthy shit and I need to go fix them. Fortunately it was the latter and off I went to fix my servers.

Ten glorious troubleshooting hours later I call my wife to tell her I am on my way home. She answers the phone and yells Xander(my youngest son) fell off the balcony get home quick. Now unfortunately my house is a 30-40 minute drive from work. Fortunately I lived in Germany for three years and I made it in 20 minutes. When I walk in Xander looks to be completely intact and is holding his hand and telling me he fell off the balcony. Anyways I ended up spending the rest of the day and half of the next day in the hospital., I am extremely thankful that my son was ok and in the end he was a little shaken up and a little sore, but over all he was fine.

I got home just in time to bath and get dressed and drive to a nearby base for a live tournament that I had already paid a forty dollar entry for. The structure was horrendous and at level four we were at 50/100 then level 5 went to 200/400. I stuck it using my experience playing short stacked in SnG’s to get me to the final table. I ended up going out in third for a prize of $200.00

My poker stars bankroll ins up to $27.00 not bad for the few games I have played lately. I have another live game tonight but I am going to try to fit in a couple SnG’s as well. We will see how it works out.

2 for 2 on titan, My article is up...

Well so far all the rumors about Titan poker have proven to be facts. It is indeed soft. I played another SnG last night and once again I was not even contested. I would flop a str8 and check it down to the river and then someone would try to steal it I would reraise they would call and I would take them out.

It was frightening what kind of hands were calling me. I am back up past my pre-blackjack amount on Titan so I am happy about that. I will prob try an MTT later today if it is as easy as the SnG I might make a little money. I am going to play another micro game at stars today I dont want to ignore my account over at stars because I still prefer to play at Stars but Titans players are well just bad.

On a good note my article I wrote is up. I feel I failed to clarify a couple points in it but it was written to help first timers, or newbies to SnG's.

here is the link...

The first article

Please be gentle with the criticism

Titan, and the article...

Not a whole lot to update. Had my weekly live game and I went with three ppl left at my first table. Played one SnG on stars last night. My AK got decimated by 36o well played sir. I got on titan to try out he new fish bowl. They did not have any games going on due to scheduled maintenance. So I decided to try out black jack and roulette. Not a good Idea fortunately I won the SnG that I eventually got to play so I am back to 40 dollars on Titan. I will write a more in depth article as to what I think of Titan tomorrow.

A good start and free money!!!!

Well I am proud to annouce that I placed ITM in my first two SnGs I played with my new found bank roll. I actually won the first one then made some suspect plays and got third in the second. Officially putting my stars bankroll at 23.90.

On a super exciting note. Over the weekend I signed up for a $50 no deposit bonus account for Titan poker. Today my account was loaded. I can't wait to try out the fish tank everyone keeps talking about. The problem I figured out is I can play anywhere since I live in Japan. It is I cant deposit money because the country my billing address is in does not match the country my IP address is on.

I finished the rough draft of the article that I am writing for SnG Planet. Not sure when it will be up but I will be sure to let you know when it is posted.

Rebirth....

First off i want to think everyone for there concern over typhoon that bitch slapped Okinawa, Japan. Fortunately for me the Okinawan engineers, Contractors, Utility Companies etc etc... Kick Ass... I firmly believe that if the same storm would have hit in the United States. We would have another hurricane Katrina incident. Since it happened here there were some downed trees, metal poles broken in half things like that. However, I did not see one house flattened...

Enough about the the storm lets talk some poker. I want to get it out of the way now and say that my bankroll online finally died this weekend. Luckily I had a contingency plan which I will discuss in a minute. Even more exciting is a second unknown contingency plan the just sorta popped up...

Anyways I want to look at why I ended up losing all of my small bankroll. We can start with the 2.20 mtt. Now it does not sound like much but I played 4 of these this weekend. That totaled up to about 30% of my total bankroll at the time. Definately should have stayed away from those. Also I did not quit even though I knew I was playing poorly and doing stupid things on Friday. Also on a side note I was at disadvantage on Friday because I was playing on Friday the 13th and everyone else was playing on Thursday the 12th. :) Alright I really dont believe that but it was worth a shot.

The next mistake I made was trying to play the 45 man games instead of the single table games. I was worried more about getting that 14 dollars for one win then I was about my bankroll disintegrating into nothing. And before I knew it I only had enough money to play 3 more games.

Those last three games I suffered a cooler with AA vs AK I had AA. Then my QQ got toppled by 77 (players at this level love pp does not matter how low.)
What happened when it was all said and done. Well I was second in chips and was dealt 9 9in the big blind. The SB raised it 2x so I called the flop came KAK the SB checks and so did I. The turn is my third 9 giving me a full house. I really thought this guy either had a K or an A but not any of the hands that beat me right then. Which I believe were AA,KK,AK. He led out on the turn I called. The river was a blank and he led out again I decided to go for the juggler and pushed all in. He called and I was shown AK. Well played sir.

So now that I was out of money I had to think of a contingency. I could not deposit money because now payment processor trusts me. This is because my billing address is in the states. Then my IP address pops up as Japanese. Amazing how hard being in the military can make life.

My contingency was to play "play money" until I built 1 million points and then sell it online. Much like people do in world of war craft for gold in the game and such. I found a website that does the buying and selling. However, they specifically ask not to advertise the site. Anyways I would get 10 dollars for sellling off my play money chips.

Mrs. Dreams was kind enough to give me a headstart and send me her play money balance of 12k . Unfortunately I was still not thinking claerly and opened up a 10k game and poof had to star pretty much from scratch. Anyways I noticed something about playmoney that has changed. There are a lot and I mean alot of real money players from the states playing play money. I think this shows the effect the UGIEA has had. I am fortunate enough to have been made an offer I could not refuse. Someone has given me an oppurtunity to "earn" $20.00 on stars for writing about the favorite pastime fly fishing. J/K I get to write a poker article. I hoping this will be the first of many. I am going to get with this guy about possibly writing more then 1. i guess we will see where the first one takes us.

Also if you look over to right of the screen you'll notice my SnG challenge status is gone. I will post a new starting from scratch at 20 dollars. It is not a challenge however just seeing where the 20 dollars takes me. I want to prove it can be done with consistent play. All I need to do is play well consistently which is my biggest problem.

I survived Man YI

Wow that was quite a storm... Winds up to 235kmh... Played a lot of poker and the beginning of the storm went really well and I worked my struggling bankroll up to $33. Unfortunately the second day went very badyl and now I am back down to 16 dollars. I feel like I can start rebuilding now though and I am still not giving up on my online bankroll...

Not bad Not bad... for the end of the world that is...

Well it appears that Typhoon Man Yi has a personal vendetta against me. I say this because as you can see represented by the arrow. The eye of a Category 4 Typhoon is going to pass directly over my house.

In poker I had a decent night last night and my struglling bankroll is at 26.35. Since I was at 4.10 a week ago I am quite happy with this result. Hopefully my internet does not go out so i can pass the time while the mother of all storms takes a shit on my house.

Also I want to thank all my readers from the UK I seem to have quite a few of them. If any of you have a blog that I have not already linked to let me know and I will indeed link to you.

Answers to the typhoon questions....

When I started this blog I was really really determined to only write about poker or something poker related 99% of the time. The only difference would be if something of great magnitude to the world happened, or something was going on in my life that might require me changing pants.

Well yesterday I included an image that showed a typhoon headed for Okinawa, Japan. Now just in case someone is not aware a typhoon is just a hurricane in the pacific ocean. Now I have had a couple e-mails, and even a reply talking about how I was not concerned about the typhoon. I want to explain I have lived through one typhoon season here so far. and during that season we were "nicked" by three or for typhoons. So when I saw the track I was not worried normally a typhoon is only about 100-200 miles across and rarely do they actually come with in 100 miles of this tiny island which is about the size of a typical U.S. County. So when I included it yesterdays post it was because I would get to play more poker.

Today it is because I might shit my pants. Typhoon MAN-YI is fore casted to travel within 30 miles of okinawa. Not only that it is 451 miles across so we are looking at the possibility of 3 days of hurricane force winds. When it passes by it will be stronger then hurricane katrina. I am fortunate to live on an island that has dealt with typhoons forever and a day. The houses are built to withstand it etc. etc. Yet it is still a little bothersome. I kind of feel like an Ant with an 18 Wheeler barreling down the road towards me.

There are the current sat stuff about the typhoon. Also the first image is why I feel this one might actually hit us.

Normally when you look at this model the line vary widely. The lines represent the different entities that track tropical cyclones in the pacific. Now everyone here has an entity that they trust more then the other. Look at the image and you will see why I am worried. All the tracks are almost exactly the same.

The next three images are infra red or watervaper sat images...

There here are all the projected paths...

Poker wise I play a couple games last night I lost 35 cents total. I would be ahead if I would stay away from the 3.25 6 man games. The turbo just does not suit my needs.

Something a little different...

I want to start by thanking everyone that comes and reads my blog. When I first started this 90% of my page views were for zero seconds and it was from the blogger links they use. Now when I look at it my average visit is 3 minutes. Almost all of my traffic comes from fellow bloggers page. I can't explain the how great it feels for to be stumbling around the internet looking at blogs and find a site with my blog already linked. Also, if you have linked to me and want to be linked you just have to ask.

Going off of that I thought I would would give a run down of my current blogroll. All the blogs I have listed here are of the highest quality. My morning routine is to one at a time read each and every one of them. Some of them I read for entertainment, some for strategy, and some just because the can be thought provoking. I have included some of my personal favorite posts in some of the descriptions.

Lets begin at the top of the list after that I will probably jump around a bit...

Guinness and Poker - The blog father himself. Iggy needs no introduction and that is final.

Bill Rini's blog- Bill is my source for poker news. Especially news affecting online play in the US. However bill has some great post about life and poker some of my favorite post are. Poker and life, also check out 10 ways to improve your game., Not only is he a thought provoking writer but the Poker sites themselves consider him expert opinion.

Mene Gene - I was a little late on the band wagon for this guy but he is an excellent writer and I really enjoyed reading the articles he wrote. A few of my favorites include.Bad Beats,Luck and statistics, Advanced Card Handling, and my personal favorite of his Talking Trash at the poker table.

The CardsSpeak- Now anyone that has actually read through my blog (and there are some) know that I can't leave hdouble out of any of my post about poker blogs. This guy is the reason I play poker. I stumbled across his blog about a year and a half ago maybe two years. I became obsessed with it and poker. It was hard to explain to friends and family when they asked what I had been up to. What was I suppose to say? "just reading some strangers diary" He doesn't update much anymore, but he updates every once in awhile and teases us saying he is coming back. The last time he did this I foamed at the mouth for a week... Here is some of the best content you'll ever read. Learning to beat the game, The Path to Poker Mastery, The development of a poker player...

Up for poker- This boasts a trio of bloggers that mainly blog about live poker. They each have an unique take on life in general and is always a good read. A post that really enjoyed isThe last poker game,

Plan3t Gong Poker- The current undisputed king of strategy based poker blogs. I love this guy he offers on his site articles and information to us lowly microlimit ppl for free. He could easily make a good bit of money off of his work. I am not including links to his strategy articles because you need to go read them all.

Straight Flush- A newly added member of the my bloglist. I have enjoyed his frequent updates. All of you should go check out his blog today. Also, congratulate hime for winning the lastest bloggerment.

Whew I am starting get tired and I am only halfway through my list of quality blogs.

The Mains Domain- A sick poker pro that tears up the 1-2 tables. One of these days I am going to sweat him so I can learn how to play cash games.

Amatay's Blog- Another newcomer to my blog list. He seems to be a bit angry lately so reader beware.

Jordan's Blog- An up and coming player online, I feel he is destined to be rich by fleecing fish like me.

The Practice of poker- Rob was the first guy to give me the warm and fuzzies when I stumbled across his log and he had me linked up. He has been making some money and plays on the sites other then Stars.

Dremeber-Tales from micro land. I really enjoy this blog because I can relate to him a lot more then I relate to some of the other bloggers.

Thats all I can think of right now the other ones have linked to me but update haphazardly. If they start updating regularly again I will be sure to hook them up with some pimpage.

On a great note I managed to boost my damaged bankroll to 21.80 last night. I finished second in one 18 man. Then I tried a 3.25 turbo 6 man. I bubbled out of it and played a 1.20 single table and won it to bring me to my total. Although it sucks pretty badly that I cant deposit 50 or a hundred ot give me a new start. I will be a lot happier with myself if I can manage to bring my bankroll back up. Also, looking for a new poker room that just gives free money for signing up. Does anyone know of any promotions going on?

On an oddly exciting note for me. I woke up this morning to find a typhoon is steering to ward the little island that I live on.

Unfortunately it looks like it is going to hit over the weekend. This could mean that I will win some money since I will be playing a lot since I cant go anywhere else or it means that my bankroll will be gone since I will be playing alot.

Almost down to nothing...

Well as everyone knows I explained in my last post that am just about down to zero in my stars account. I am glad to announce I did not hit the zero point this weekend. I also played a lot of poker this weekend. I want to give you all a link to a fellow micro limit player Dremeber. I personally enjoy reading his stuff because he is in the same boat I am playing on a bank that is usually under a hundred dolllars.

Back to my weekend I started the weekend down to around 20 dollars. I had 700 FFPs however I figured I could play 10 of the FFP sats to the new sunday hundred grand tourney. Thesse are eleven dollar seats so if I could when a couple I could freeroll a few micro SnG's to try to build up a bit. These were catastrophic. Normally three to four all ins first hand then the winner would call 80% of bets. each time I got it all in with AA, KK, QQ and ea ch time I got waxed. My favorite was I had KK guy called me allin with J7 off suit. YAY!!! I dbld right? Wrong? guy flopped quad sevens. Anyways After I had polished off my fpps I had about 6 beers in me and decided to play some more. I ended fri night up about .31.

Then came black Saturday as I call it I could not win anything and playing 1.20 tournies it takes a while to drop 12 dollars but I did. I decided to sign up for the 2.20 heads up challenge they have nightly on stars. I could almost taste the 256 dollar first prize when I got donked out in 4th when the guy runner runner str8 flush to desimate my nut flush. It hurt and at the end of it all i was down to $6.10.

I woke up sunday still feeling ill from not winning the heads up tourney. I entered in to a 1.20 18 man lost it. Down 4.90 I have not mapped out exactly how I am going to spend the last of this bankroll. the next level will take me down to $2.70.

I decided to take a short break and treat my family to ice cream. Thats when it happened Mrs. Dreams got so mad at me because I was losing that she flung herself out of the car and broke her leg. Ok not really she was actually walking down a trail an injured her ankle quite badly. I spent the next two hours in the ER and then went for Ice Cream. After yelling at her for not making dinner with her BUM leg and all... O Ok I am lieing again. I waited on her hand and foot and then when she was comfortabel or as comfortable as you could be with an ankle the size of a softball. I sat down to play some poker.

I guess the poker gods enjoyed my acts of kindness to Mrs. Dreams because I climbed back up to 17.55 which is were I stand right now. Anyways I though I would provide all of you with some highlights form the weekwend of desperation poker.

This is well the ultimate BB special...

This hand was funny because I folded JJ since I just had a feeling someone had me beat Pre-flop.

I am not proud of it but it was the BB and it is a Royal Flush.

Cant' complan about the next few hands

and then

Where to begin...

If anybody asked my wife she would tell you I play a lot of online poker. The funny part is I think if you ask the guy that bags my groceries, or the guy that does the checkout at the gas station they would say the same thing. Now other then a couple times where I actually cashed money out of the poker stars my online poker career has been one the same odd cycle. I put in my 50-100 through e-passporte. I play for a while within my bankroll then I get bored and I go "have fun" now unfortunately for me having fun is not taking that one shot. Having fun for me is going and donking away a good portion of my bankroll playing incorrectly. Lately I have not had this issue and instead just play a variety of games from micro to low limits.

Well through a couple of days of tilt induced chaos it became painfully clear that I was going to have to reload my account I was down to my last 17.31 in my account. So I dutifully went to e-passporte and clicked load account. That's when I seen it in red letters the word "blocked" Now it has been like 6 months or more since I have had to reload my account so I shot them an e-mail to ask. Now it has been almost a week and no response.

So now I am working at trying to rebuild my bankroll. I have several ideas on doing this. I am going to spend the weekend trying to rebuild. My goal is to get it back to 100 by the end of this weekend.

My wife in herblog came up with a pretty good idea to do a picture of okinawa everyday... I thought I would come up with a similiar idea. Although it prob wont be everyday, but every post I am going to do a hand of the day screen shot. Here is the first.

Finally a 180 man final table....

Drum roll please.... Anyone who has read my blog knows that the 180 man 4.40 games have been a huge thorn in my side. I consistently did not make the money and when I did make the money I barely made the money and never could think of final tabling it.

Well last night that all changed I opened up 180 man tourney and told my wife this is the one I am going to Final Table this one. I immediately it looked bleak after hand ten when my JJ ran into 73o for two pair. I battled my way back though and at the break I was right around average chips. Then this hand happened I have like 2300 in chips and the whole table limps in for 300 in chips in front of me as the big blind and one of the smaller stacks I decided to push in an attempt to buy all these chips. Unfortunately I have 910s and the whole table calls...WTF? how can everyone be slow playing monsters. Anyways they were and collectively after the flop when I hit my nine the table had 3 outs to beat me. So with a little luck I double quadrupled up an was on well on my way. Anyways with about thirty ppl in I get all in with QQ vs AQ and boom I am down to 2700 again... NOOOOO!!!! I collapsed into my chair holding my head I was so close. My lovely wife was gracious enough to capture my moment of pure devastation on film. So here is the picture my wife titled the "agony of poker". Here I am after my hopes and dreams for a final table in the 180 man were crushed.

So I am now the shortest stack of the tourney with 28 ppl left. I fold, fold, fold, push, fold, fold ,fold, fold, push etc etc... Then it happens the bubble breaks... I am now 17th out of 17 and have like 2100 chips. I get dealt KQs good enuf!!! I push four short stacked callers I hit a straight and I have 11k in chips. I buy a few pots and work my way up to 17k with 16 ppl left I get all in with AQ vs a guy with 18k in chips. His cards flip and he has AA. Once again I sunk into my chair. then the flop QAQ huh? could it be possible no way I will get the fourth Q!!!! It hit on the turn. I would have taken a screen shot however I was to busy trying to climb back into my chair. I ended up on the final table as the chip leader. I screwed up and slow played my AA and lost a grip of chips to a guy I fought my way to 5th and went out with KK vs. A8. I was happy with my finish and it only took a couple miracles. three sets of quads, and winning a few races to do it. What a day...
