Running bad at poker life lol...

So last week I had sooo much time to playu poker I played at least 1 mtt a day. I ran well and really had fun. It was honestly the perfect time considering the next week we have a military exercise. Which means long hours in the middle of the night and almost zero time to play poker. I mean zero time...

So you all can imagine my dismay when after working for 13 hours and driving home for 40 min that I log on to poker stars to see if any of my friends from RtR were playing. When the big banner advertising the PokerStars $2 million Turbo take. Which
if you dont know is a $2million dollar FPP free roll that pays 1 in 3 ppl. Since it is capped at 12k ppl and they are running hundreds of sats and sng sats all week long. It is safe to assume that is might fill up before my exercise ends. I run so bad lol...

I did figure out if I deprive myself of sleep and get lucky I might be able to qualify during the day. I will update if I manage to qualify.

I got some good feedback from people over my reecent run. I would like to address the comments form each individual here.

We will start with Rob's who asked why I did not update about it sooner.

Honestly I don't know everytime I thought about getting ready to make a post I logged in for another game or I was posting on Raise The River which as you all know i have become a moderator for. I am going to make a genuine effort in the future to update the blog several times a week. Now that I have a bit of a roll and such I am going ot think about which direction I am going to I will update the blog as sson as I know.

Next Life's a Grind wanted to make sure I kept my mind in the right frame of mind and watched out for variance. Thanks alot and although I have had a blast playing the higher limits I have moved back down.

Now I want to talk about this lovely comment by Tanorpheous. I am going to post the coment below and then I will type my response.

You make no sense ! You decide NOT to play the biggest game in town because it's more than your BR even though it was a SAT so probably only cost you $12 at most but then buyin Direct to a $55 game which must be like 25% of you BR.
Insanity.

Ok let's start with my thought on this. Although I welcome criticism I would like it to be thought out. My issue with the above not only with immature wording of the post but the lack of thinking through the facts.

For starters yes I decided not to play the Sunday Million because it was a little more then my entire bankroll. So I unregistered and then had T$215 in my account that was added to my bankroll. So automatically my bankroll is about doubled.

Then I played the bloggerment which costs $5 and I placed 2nd so I made 36.00 for now I did not include my original BR amount so I cant fault Tanorpheous for not knowing how much I had but with information given which included the cash in the $11 and $33 gave my at least a $350 BR from just my SAT. SO logically the $55 dollar buyin could not be 25% of my roll. Furthermore I still wanted to take a shot with the SAT money but decidd a couple medium shots would be better for me then 1 big shot against 6,000 other people.

Again I welcome criticism as it helps you improve, but make constructive, and dont tell me I make no sense or that I am insane unless you atleast think through the material presented to you. It shows poor form.

BOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well unfortunately my reader base has dropped drastically since i quit updating so much. I plan to start updating again real soon. Anyways the last week i have played assloads of poker.

It all started with me deciding to use a chunk of my BR and play a SAT to the Sunday million. After 2 hours I made it and had my ticket to the biggest show in town. I went to bed about 2 AM after setting my alarm for 5AM so I could get on and discuss with BurnleyMik whether or not I should play the million even though it was more then my current BR. I decided against it and chose to play the bloggerment. I have been developing a tighter more well shined style and thought the bloggerment would be just the place to unleash it.

I was chatting to mik when the bloggerment started and decided to go in to a last longest bet with him. I ended playing the game of my life and finished second. I ran so badly HU literally I forced my opponent to make a huge mistake for all is chips twice going into the hand as a 70% + favorite. So with my confidence way up I entered into a $11 dollar MTT which I managed to cash in.

The next day I decided to try my hand at the $33 dollar buy in on Stars. I finished 18th out 563 ppl. Although I played very well My QQ was no match for the mighty J2s in the end.

After that I decided to play the $55 buy in 50k guaranteed and managed to make the money. I started it off well enough but ended up barely squeeking into the money. Not only that I finally got all my chips in holding KK and JJ nailed it.

I started playing the $12 180 man games as I had a decent roll now and ended up FT two for big cashes I have a new strategy in these and managed to play about ten never finishing less the 40th so I think these might be a decent money maker. going to attempt to play some of the $12 45 man as well to see if the new strategy works with those as it might be easier to build my roll up playing those.
